National Fish Habitat Action Plan

The National Fish Habitat Conservation Act (H.R. 2565) gained an additional co-sponsors in June, bringing the number of co-sponsors who have signed on to the bill in 2010 alone to 15.  Representative Erik Paulsen (R-MN), signed on is support or H.R. 2565 on June 23, 2010 and Representatives Tim Holden (D-PA) and Vernon Ehlers (R-MI) signed on in support of H.R. 2565 on June 24, 2010 bringing the total number of co-sponsors signed on to the legislation to 28 Representatives.

With the addition of Representatives Paulsen, Holden and Ehlers the House bill now has 11 Republicans and 17 Democrats signed on in support.  H.R. 2565 was originally introduced by Representative Ron Kind (D-WI) in May 2009, Representative Bill Cassidy (R-LA) was the first Republican to co-sponsor the bill on December 2, 2009.  Below is a listing of the current co-sponsors of H.R. 2565.
